Valley Credit Union

At Valley Credit Union (Valley CU), we know how to bank - for people, not profits. We offer the same great services as any other full-service financial cooperative, but it’s how we do things that truly sets us apart. Our focus is on you, our community, and reinvesting in the people and places that matter most.

Local Ownership and Advice

Why Choose a Credit Union? Belonging to a credit union means that you are more than a customer – you're an owner. As an owner, you have a voice in the direction of your financial institution, electing a voluntary Board of Directors and influencing local decisions that impact you and your community. Our co-operative values mean every member is of equal value and has equal access to banking. It also means our goal is to provide the best service and advice to the people of the Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia. Not profits for "distant shareholders" - we are focused on supporting our local economy and giving back.

As shared at our Annual General Meeting on April 24, 2025, we are proud to announce that our credit union is aligning with Atlantic Credit Unions across the region. Over the coming months, we will begin the process of updating our brand identity to reflect this shared vision and commitment to our members.

These updates will be gradually introduced in the locations where you access your banking services - both in person and online. While our look may be changing, our dedication to serving you with the same personalized care and community values remains stronger than ever.

To learn more about our refreshed logo and what it means for you, please visit your local branch or contact us directly. We’re excited to take this next step forward - together.
